Night NurseOur client, based in Constantia in the southern suburbs in Cape Town is looking for a night nurse to provide attentive, compassionate, and skilled care throughout the night to support the health and well-being of the patient.ResponsibilitiesProvide overnight care and assistanceMonitor the patient's vital signs, medication schedule, and overall well-beingAssist the patient with any personal care tasks they may need help with, such as toileting, bathing, and changing.Ensure the patient is comfortable and safe during working hours.Be prepared to respond to any emergencies or issues that may arise during the night.Communicate effectively with the patient's family and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.Document and report any significant changes in the patient's condition or behaviour.Provide emotional support and companionship.Maintain a clean and organized environment for the patient.Follow all medical protocols and procedures to ensure the patient's health and safety are prioritized.RequirementsNurse qualification (enrolled or registered nurse)Current registration with SANCAble to administer injections unsupervisedStart DateAs soon as possibleOnly candidates who meet all the minimum requirements stipulated in the advert, will be considered.
