We have an exciting opportunity available for a General Manager to lead The Body Shop South Africa.
This role will be based at the Head Office in Cape Town and report to the Clicks Managing Executive.
Job Purpose: To provide strategic leadership through a compelling and sustainable brand proposition, as well as to manage day to day operations in line with group strategic objectives, in order to achieve sales and profit targets, deliver operational and service excellence and improve brand affiliation.
Job Objectives: To drive and foster positive relationships with The Body Shop International.
To develop and implement strategic decisions in order to enhance specialization, maintain and grow market leadership in the beauty categories.
To achieve the financial and operational plan in order to grow the business.
To communicate the brand proposition effectively and be the custodian of brand values and principles in order to build a motivated and engaged workforce.
To maximize coverage of the brand within appropriate formats in order to retain and gain market share.
To enhance customer loyalty and improve returns.
To drive continuous business process improvements in order to maintain operational excellence.
To manage people and other resources in order to build capability to meet current and future business needs and achieve transformation objectives.
