General Manager – Agriculture, Tzaneen Limpopo

One of our TOP clients is urgently looking to appoint a General Manager for their subtropical fruit business.

Reporting to the Commercial Director (Africa), the successful candidate will be responsible to maximize value for all its stakeholders and achieve its business strategy. The role entails management across local and global supply chains, developing and implementing a sustainable business strategy to channel fresh subtropical fruit into the markets.

Requirements:

Degree in Agriculture, Commerce/Trade/Business or Marketing Minimum of 6 years Senior Managerial and Sales experience Knowledge of the fruit market structures, within South Africa and abroad Experience with working on fruit software systems and managing an ERP environment A strong background in logistics management, with the ability to negotiate contracts. Solid analytical abilities, with a very high level of proficiency in the use of excel, pivot tables / graphs, and use of BI Dashboards If you are interested kindly submit the following documents:
