**General Manager**Job Summary / Purpose: To be responsible for all aspects of growth and development of The Company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Key Areas: Plan and carry out direct sales activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, prices, values, product mix and timescales Forecast Pro Sales Planning New business Agent contracts, Distribution channels Drives customer satisfaction throughout organization balancing cost to serve Meet sales/gross profit targets in line with budget.
Deal with speculative calls, aftercare and service calls Client visits new and service identify and follow up business leads Write proposal documents and tenders, negotiate fees and rates in line with Co policy and comply with approvals and discounts allowed and Issue Terms of Business Defend and gain market share keeping pricing parameters Maintain and develop existing and new customers/territories through retail distribution contract set up and maintenance, planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information Give proper product forecasts in line with budget Maintain pricing parameters and margin control Maintain and initiate reporting processes Liaise and attend meetings and trials with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development and function as a fortified food commercial representative of the company.

to be discussed per candidate Ensure timely collections and collection follow up by managing staff To provide technical, information support for clients to facilitate sales whenever required Attend and conduct training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills Logistics Food Safety, Stockholding, warehousing function, transport costs etc.
Responsibilities: Implementation, management & report back of Policy/Directives from office Propose action plan to address the market area Management appointments involve appropriate Executive Committee member Select the team train and manage them Follow up the targeted customers and guarantee KAM coherency Responsible for gross margin achievement Responsible for customers credits / Days Sales Outstanding Responsible for a monthly reporting to the GM Sales indicating sales development strategy & evolution (Marketing plan, turnover per area and per range, margin level, comparison to budget).
Office administration: Stock management Ordering of stationary Repair and maintenance of office equipment I.T.
functionality Switchboard functionality Petty cash reconciliation Performance Criteria: Achievement of Budgets (Sales & GM) Sales Forecasts precision / quality (Sales, OPS & GM) Procedures related to stock holding and stock mix of all stock items Profitable, payment collected, turnover achievement.
(Days Sales Outstanding should not be major) Industrial margin evolution Reliability of the on-time reporting Interface with Executive Committee and local team Employee and Customer Safety on sites Summary of Responsibilities: Managing Achieving targets Administration Staff control, development, succession planning and support Communications Housekeeping Policy/Procedure Other duties Measure of Performance: Target achievement Effective communications internal & external Organizational protocol adherence 100% utilisation of staffing resource Company image Application of Food Safety (legal, statutory, international standards) and Quality Management Systems (Standards, Procedures, Verified audits) Adherence to health and safety policies Warehouse management Feel free to apply if you fit all of the requirements.
