General Manager Finance

Job & Company Description:The successful candidate will take responsibility for planning, implementing and managing all finance activities, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.Duties include, but are not limited to:Develop the financial well-being of the divisionReview and interpret monthly management accountsAnalyse operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancementsAssist with strategic analysis and planningEstablish finance and operational strategiesReview and sign off on journalsManage working capitalResponsible for assessments and the implementation of internal controlsPrepare inter-divisional and inter-branch reconciliationsReview and analyze provisionsReview general ledger reconciliationsManage banking profiles and treasury functionsManage all FECsPrepare annual reporting packsResponsible for the compilation and consolidation of budgetsReview payroll and statutory paymentsSupport project analysisEnsure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirementsEducation:Qualified CA(SA)Job Experience & Skills Required:5 to 7 years experience within a financial management role is essentialProven technical understanding and working knowledge of IFRSStrong analytical skillsExperience in a project environment highly preferredStrong organizational skillsStrong presentation and communication skillsStrong business partnering skillsBusiness and financial acumenMeticulous attention to detailAPPLY NOW!
