General Manager | Durban

JD Specialized Recruitment is partnering with an ultra-luxury hotel in Durban to recruit a highly experienced and dynamic GENERAL MANAGER to lead their Team.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is only open to South African Residents.
Requirements:

Diploma in Hotel or Food & Beverage Management.
Previous experience at a GM level at a highly reputable and internationally recognised 5* hotel.
Experience should preferably include 5 years Food & Beverage management (3 years at Executive Management level) plus 3 years Rooms Division Management experience.
Excellent financial acumen and the ability to analyse financial and economical data and provide recommendations to mitigate potential risk.
An inspirational leader with a track record of success managing, supporting, mentoring, and coaching a highly experienced Senior Executive team.
Computer literate with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel plus previous experience with Opera and Micros.
Exceptional guest interaction and service recovery skills.
Excellent command of the English language with solid verbal and written communication skills.
A stable employment history that displays targets and objectives being met consistently.

Start Date: Early 2025
Salary: Highly negotiable (DOE)
