Civil construction company is seeking a Civil Construction Production Manager/General Foreman to oversee and drive excellence on a variety of civil engineering projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage construction teams on projects including pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.Implement and ensure compliance with construction methods in line with SANS 1200 standards.Organize and direct daily site activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.Train and mentor emerging foremen and labor teams, fostering growth and skill development.Oversee plant and equipment management to ensure operational efficiency.Manage contracts, public relations, and client/employer relationships effectively.Maintain strong organizational and communication practices to ensure smooth project execution.Key RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 5 years in a Production Manager/General Foreman role on civil construction projects.Education: Passed Grade 12 / NQF4; a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.Skills & Knowledge:Proven expertise in managing construction teams and delivering high-quality results.Solid understanding of construction methodologies and compliance with SANS 1200.Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to mentor and upskill team members for long-term project success.Proficiency in man-management and contractual oversight.Licenses: Valid Code EB or higher driver's license.
