General Engineering Superintendent

RPO Recruitment is currently working with a leading mining company in Gauteng, South Africa, who is looking for a General Engineering Superintendent (GES) to join their team.
Responsibilities: Overseeing and managing the engineering department Developing and implementing procedures and guidelines for engineering operations Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations Managing budgets and resources for engineering projects Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies Mentoring and developing engineering staff Participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes Requirements: BSc Engineering Degree/National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Electrical Trade Test Certificate Legal liability training certificate 5 years Mining experience of which 3 years should have been on a foreman level DMS plant experience and Mobile machinery experience Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the mining industry Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Valid driver's license Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
