Gcc Plant Engineer (Hsse Focus)

RESPONSIBILITIESRoutine site engagements with Plant Safety and Environment Managers and Plant ManagersAssist in setting safety and environment targets for all sites and zone safety and environment teamsScope projects required to improve the Safety and/or Environment Pillar maturity including Capex and Zero based budgeting requirements and projects required to manage safety and environmental risks on site and improve performance on siteConduct selected investigations into safety and environment incidents across the Zone and drive closure of investigations, gaps and legal compliance across the ZoneCoaching of regional resources on all Safety and environment standards (SOPs) including incident reporting and management, and supporting the plants to identify root causes for any incidents, developing effective preventative and corrective actionsConduct site safety and environment auditsREQUIREMENTSBSc or BTech in a related fieldMinimum 5 years work experience related to Safety Management and / or Engineering Management in FMCG manufacturing plantGovernment safety/legal accredited qualification (SA GCC Factories)Professional Engineering accreditation (advantageous)Experience in African countries outside SA
