Gcc Engineer

Our client based in the Pietermaritzburg area is seeking a full-time, qualified and experienced GCC Engineer to join their team.
Requirements:
5 years' experience post GCCQualified Mechanical Engineer (Diploma/Degree)Must have GCC FactoriesRisk managementProject management experienceManagement skillsComputer literacyNQF Level 6Duties:
Responsible for the performance and maintenance of the air conditioning system, electrical and water reticulation, compressors, fire detection systems-autoclaves and packing equipment and making the necessary reportsTo participate in annual budgeting activitiesTo ensure sufficient supply of spare parts whilst maintaining low stock levelsTo analyse machine utilization and suggest improvement measures using the SPC methodTo maintain effective and efficient administration systemTo identify risk and implement corrective measuresTo assist in developing world class performance concepts, through continuous improvement and the SPC systemTo liaise with outside authorities on issues affecting the department (municipality, suppliers, consultants, and government departments)To ensure that building and facilities are timeously maintainedTo ensure compliance with OHS Act measures to limit accidents and incidentsTo ensure that the apprentice training is managed according to the apprentice training program and facilitating training activitiesFacilitating technical training for artisans, mechanics and employeesDealing with training agencies to book training courses and to receive updates on progressUsing SPC to establish and report on machine differences and be involved in eliminating theseTo perform cost analysis and report cost trends and to recommend improvements
