Requirements:Qualified Mechanical Engineer (Diploma/Degree)Must have GCC FactoriesRisk managementProject management experienceFMCG or Packaging experience essentialResponsible for the performance and maintenance of the air conditioning system, electrical and water reticulation, compressors, fire detection systems-autoclaves and packing equipment and making the necessary reportsAnnual budgeting activitiesEnsure sufficient supply of spare parts whilst maintaining low stock levelsAnalyse machine utilization and suggest improvement measures using the SPC methodMaintain effective and efficient administration systemIdentify risk and implement corrective measuresAssist with developing world-class performance concepts, through continuous improvement and the SPC systemLiaise with outside authorities on issues affecting the department (municipality, suppliers, consultants, and government departments)Ensure that buildings and facilities are timeously maintainedEnsure compliance with OHS Act measures to limit accidents and incidentsEnsure that the apprentice training is managed according to the apprentice training program and facilitate training activitiesFacilitate technical training for artisans, mechanics and employees
