DescriptionA great Denim Brand has a vacancy for a seasoned, hands-on Denimwear Technologist. Healthy understanding and knowledge of denim garment construction, washes, etc. Pattern knowledge also advantageous. ResponsibilitiesFittings and fit samples.Advise design/construction changes where necessary to facilitate production and assist with cost.Assist the Patternmakers in the Design Room with pattern construction, fit queries and grading.Process all the required Pre-Production information. Calculate and apply shrinkages to Pre Pro specs, sign off for production.Conduct store visits.Attend product meetings.RequirementsQualifications: Relevant Degree/Diploma.
Experience: 3 – 8 years experience in Denim Apparel (jeans, etc).
