Salary and Benefits:ZAR 12,000 monthly fixed salary- Annual Bonus based on company results and individual performance – not guaranteed.- ZAR 1,600 contribution to Private Health Insurance (after probation period of 3 months)- Pension Plan with 7.5% company contribution offix salary (after probation period of 3 months)- Accommodation (own room & bathroom).- Keeping Gratuities- Uniform- Meals- Free wifi.- Working cycle: 6 weeks of continuous work / 2 weeks off, 10 days of annual leave.Brief Description of the Vacancy:- Leads a small team of cooks and kitchen staff.- Cooks for our guests (20 guests at Full Camp) at 5-star level and our staff members according to the meal plan.- Presents and introduces new meal ideas.- Responsible for food & beverage management - purchasing, hygiene, stock management.- Optimal use of food stocks (compliance with budget targets).- Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen.Experience Required:At least 5 years of experience as Head Chef in a comparable position at a 5-star level.Required Skills:- Familiar with the requirements of HACCP standards.- Puts the wishes of the guests first and is ready to go the extra mile.- Honest personality with integrity who likes to work in a team.- No hierarchical thinking.- Willingness to help out in other areas of the Lodge in exceptional situations.
