Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement business development strategies to expand our client base and increase assets under management (AUM) in unit trusts and collective investment schemes. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, financial advisors, and intermediaries to understand their needs and provide tailored investment solutions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and leveraging existing relationships. Present investment solutions to prospective clients, conduct product training sessions, and provide ongoing support and education to clients and partners. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery. Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Prepare and deliver regular reports on business development activities, client feedback, and market insights to senior management. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced Degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or client relationship management within the unit trust/collective investment schemes sector. Demonstrated success in developing and executing business development strategies and achieving sales targets. Strong understanding of unit trusts, collective investment schemes, and the broader financial services industry. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
