Fund Accountant

Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:Manage cash flow, oversee investment transactions, and record them accurately in the accounting system to ensure timely and precise NAV reportingConduct regular reconciliations of cash and stocks, promptly investigating any discrepancies to prevent NAV errorsMonitor asset pricing daily and monthly, verifying sources for corporate actions to guarantee accurate valuation and prevent pricing errors in asset valuationOversee and conduct regular compliance reviews on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure adherence to scheme specifications and to address any issues highlighted in compliance reviews and reportsSend valuation emails to a predetermined distribution list promptly to ensure all relevant parties are informed of the NAV in a timely manner Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years commercial experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel, Outlook and WordStrong time management skills and adeptness at handling pressureAbility to train other team membersExcellent communication skillsQualification:A Degree in Accounting; Finance or InvestmentsCompleted SAICA/SAIPA articles Contact CHANEL STEENKAMP on
