Fund Accounting and Administration SpecialistAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fund Accounting and Administration Specialist role. The successful candidate will support all investment administrative and operational processes within the Investment Operations team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform investment administrative functions:Prepare payment instructions and ensure timely paymentsProcess payment, transaction, and pricing instructions accurately and promptlyFacilitate Funds and Investors setup, including bank account creation and CRM setupCreate and maintain instruments, including loan instrument maintenanceReconcile weekly/monthly cash, asset position, system-to-system, and scrip to ensure timely resolution of breaksCollate and/or review Fund Trial BalancesPrepare statutory reporting, including Reg 28 and SARB reportsAssist with client reporting and preparation of loan and audit confirmationsSupport audit and ad-hoc queriesAssist with automation initiativesSupport operating systems upgrade testing and developmentsProvide general support for operational functions within the teamDesired Experience & QualificationB.Com with articles or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years' experience in asset management industry.Strong knowledge of financial instruments.Understanding of Fund Accounting.Proficiency in Excel and Word.Familiarity with Hiportfolio.Independent with a highly professional approachExcellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skillsExceptional attention to detailAbility to perform effectively under pressureSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyTeam playerPackage & RemunerationPermanent Employment (Hybrid opportunity)Highly competitive salary with standard company benefits.Interested?Please Note:– If you have not been contacted within two weeks (post CV submission date), please consider your application unsuccessful.– By applying for this position, you hereby give consent for your personal information to be retained on our database for future employment opportunities and further grant consent for your personal information to be accessed by third parties, strictly for the purposes of recruitment and/or employment purposes.
