Job Description Overview: As an Art Director (TTL), you will collaborate closely with clients, strategy teams, and other stakeholders to convey brand essence visually.
You will oversee the design process, including layout, image selection, video, and other elements, while managing and delegating tasks to artists, photographers, graphic designers, and other creatives.
Responsibilities: • Develop and communicate creative ideas and concepts in collaboration with a copywriter.
• Create sketches, storyboards, and layout designs based on creative ideas.
• Understand marketing strategies, positioning, and target audiences.
• Develop and implement style guides for projects or publications.
• Select photographs, videos, charts, and graphics for visual projects.
• Coordinate with freelance photographers and artists to produce content.
• Ensure all projects are completed within deadlines and budget.
• Collaborate with various departments such as strategy, client services, and digital teams.
• Review, critique, and approve content.
• Demonstrate strong graphic design skills with a compelling portfolio.
• Incorporate feedback and provide clear direction to teams.
• Possess strong communication and presentation skills.
• Maintain proficiency in brand identity and style guidelines.
• Create visually appealing and persuasive decks for pitches.
• Exhibit teamwork skills while being capable of working independently when necessary.
Requirements Required Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor's degree in arts, fine arts, graphic design, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Art Director (specify years of experience).
• Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, colour theory, layout design, print production, image selection, and packaging design.
• Proficiency in design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other visual and wire framing tools.
