• CTC: R70,000 to R100,000, depending on the candidate's level of experience.
• Location: Currently remote, but we will transition to a hybrid structure in the next two months. The office location will likely be in the Broadacres, Fourways, Bryanston, or Sandton area.
• Position Duration: This is a full-time role. However, please be aware that all candidates will undergo a three-month evaluation/probation period.
• Timings: We are eager to start reviewing shortlists as soon as possible. Some candidates may have a two-month notice period, but we aim to fill this role quickly with the right person.

As the Creative Director, you will play a critical role in developing innovative, strategic solutions that consistently deliver beyond objectives while fostering a culture of creativity and growth. You will lead a fast-paced, vibrant environment, interpreting client briefs into creative solutions, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, and overseeing a creative team of designers, copywriters, and strategists.

Key Responsibilities: Creative Director • Leadership & Vision: Lead and manage creative teams, partners, and suppliers in developing advertising, promotional, and marketing materials. Provide direction, inspiration, and mentorship to a diverse group of creatives including designers, copywriters, and multimedia specialists.
• Creative Strategy: Develop and execute creative strategies that align with client objectives and the agency's mission. Ensure all creative output is innovative, impactful, and resonates with diverse audiences.
• Creative Conceptualization: Conceptualize and execute integrated creative campaigns across various media channels, including digital, traditional, and experiential marketing, ensuring cohesive brand messaging throughout.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on all creative matters. Participate in client briefings and presentations, providing strategic thought leadership and insights.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Creatives, Strategists, Developers, Media, and Accounts to deliver strategic and creative solutions that align with broader business goals.
• Process & Best Practices: Develop and implement creative processes and best practices to ensure efficiency and quality in all creative work.
• Innovation & Excellence: Foster a culture of innovation and creativity, inspiring the team to consistently produce outstanding work. Champion innovation in every project.
• Trend Awareness: Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in creative design, branding, and marketing.
• Integration & Digital Focus: Drive digital integration, leading client brainstorms and workshops to set KPIs, strategic direction, and effective ways of working to maintain strong client relationships.
• Project Management: Plan and manage the creative process across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and maintaining high creative standards.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide the creative team, encouraging professional growth and fostering creative excellence.
• New Business: Contribute to new business pitches, leveraging creative expertise to secure and grow client engagements.
• Creative Execution: Generate and sell ideas to clients and team members, mock up creative concepts, and consistently deliver creative elements across multiple channels.
• Quality Oversight: Ensure the highest standards of quality across writing, design, multimedia, and campaign execution, creating impactful presentations for clients.
RequirementsQualifications & Competencies • Experience: A minimum of 10+ years in creative roles within the advertising industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership position, showcasing a track record of creative innovation and excellence.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant disciplines are a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse creative team. Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative Excellence: A strong creative vision with expertise in brand storytelling, demonstrated through a portfolio of innovative and effective campaigns across various media channels.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to merge creative vision with strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with client goals and campaign success.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to foster collaboration within the team and maintain strong client relationships.
