Job TitleA company based in Midrand / Menlyn is looking for a Full Stack Java Developer (Angular) to join their team on a long-term renewable contract working hybrid.Job DescriptionDuties:At least 5 years knowledge and experience in Java development including the necessary solution space e.g., version control (Git)Knowledge of Kafka or other streaming platforms or messaging systems e.g., MQTTKubernetes/Microservice ArchitectureProficiency in UI frameworks e.g., Angular (Version 9 or higher)Development of backend and frontend user storiesTake actively part in all regular Scrum ceremonies.Contribute to refinement of user stories (user stories at the beginning of a development sprint might not be fully specified)Liaise with stakeholders and team members.Pro-active knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching of members from the same or other teams.Clarify open points possibly making proposals and/or developing a prototype for further discussion.Provide support for existing solutions (DevOps)Agile experience (advantageous).ITIL process knowledge and work experience (advantageous)Experience with backend frameworks like Java EE/J2EE (Java Enterprise Edition)Experience with testing tools like Karma, Jasmine, Postman, Newman, Cypress, Selenium, Junit, Xunit Robot, JestExperience with Jira and ConfluenceExperience of agile methodologies, particularly ScrumExperience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible)Relevant IT Degree / Diploma / equivalent work Experience.+5 years' experience as a Software Engineer+2 years' experience with AngularPackage & RemunerationSalary Negotiable
