Job Description As a Full Stack Developer employed at MassMutual Romania and working exclusively for the Haven Tech business group, you will be joining a scrum team of developers, product managers, QA engineers, and product designers who have been developing the leading end-to-end platform for Life Insurance.
Many of the things you develop will be the first of their nature within the industry. Your job will require you to work closely with your fellow technology team members, to coordinate with QA resources, and to communicate with business team members in completion of your work. Working with other developers you might work on items such as:
Creating workflow tools for routing insurance applicationsDeveloping components for algorithmic or manual underwriting modulesExpanding our policy administration platform including complex workflow definitions, financial calculations, and core processing logicDefining and applying rule sets for third party data integrationsBuilding advisor and customer facing components for taking new business applicationsBuilding tools for platform configurators to be able to configure the platform.If this vision excites you, we are seeking a Full Stack Developer to become a MassMutual Romania team member. Requirements
Demonstrated ability to explain complex problems and solutions to people inside and outside their domain of expertise.Demonstrated ability to design, write, and edit technical and process documentation.Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript as a programming language, NodeJS, and Angular frameworkExperience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or other Relational DBMSExperience with containerization technologies like DockerExperience with data caching and in-memory databases like RedisA demonstrable experience in building modern, complex customer-facing web applications.Exposure to modern MVC (Model-view-controller) frameworksSolid grounding in data driven applications and concepts (data/object modeling, database systems)Experience with message queue systems like RabbitMQExperience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines like GitLab
Testing strategy definition and framework creation.Familiarity with Microservice framework
