Job DescriptionJob Purpose: Responsible for the implementation, administration, and support of cloud-based productivity services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience while enabling efficient collaboration and data management across the organization.
Responsibilities: Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.Implement and maintain Microsoft Intune for device management and configuration.Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection and advanced threat protection.Deploy and maintain Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.Implement information protection policies and data loss prevention measures.Manage Azure virtual machines and related services.Facilitate cloud-to-on-premises data synchronization and integration.Collaborate with identity and access management teams to manage Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Premium (Entra ID).Perform backup and recovery processes including testing using the tools and technology deployed in PetroSA to ensure business hardware & software availability.Implement work practices relating to all aspects of server support and adhere to PetroSA's IS policies and procedures to ensure cost-effective and efficient use of IS systems.Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on cloud productivity tools and services.Conduct training and change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies.Minimum Qualifications: Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7)/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.5 years of experience in administering and supporting cloud productivity services, including Microsoft 365, Azure, security, identity management, and virtual machine management.Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.Understanding of cloud computing principles and architectures.Knowledge of information protection policies and data loss prevention.NB: As part of our recruitment process, candidates will be required to undergo Vetting/Security clearance.
