We are currently seeking a conscientious and dynamic Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead our front desk operations at a luxurious 5-Star Boutique Hotel. If you have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction, this role is perfect for you!
As our FOH Manager, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, responsible for greeting guests, managing bookings, and ensuring that our reception area operates smoothly and professionally. This position requires a blend of excellent communication skills and strong leadership to create a memorable experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all reception operations, including inquiries, reservations, guest payments, and staff training.
Ensure accurate rates are set and maintained, alongside seamless communication between departments.
Manage the reservations and payment system, ensuring precise guest information and payments.
Handle guest complaints with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring every concern is addressed.
Prepare the monthly roster for receptionists and assist with room checks as needed.
Requirements:
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written).
3-5 years of front desk experience in a 5-Star hotel environment.
Proficiency in front desk procedures, reservations, and financial transactions.
Experience with Hotel Management Software, specifically Semper.
Strong time management, leadership, and customer service skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Package:
Live-in position with all utilities covered.
Monthly salary of R13k.
