Front Office Associate

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented
Front Office Associate / Receptionist
to join our team at our prestigious hotel in Thohoyandou. If you have a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to established check-in and check-out procedures.
Regularly update guest lists and distribute them to relevant departments.
Report faults using the maintenance log for timely resolution.
Liaise closely with Housekeeping regarding guest check-outs.
Be well-versed in the Hotel's Rates Policy, Front Office Procedures, Policies, and emergency procedures.
Ensure compliance with Minimum Guest Service Standards.
Accurately post all charges to guest folios.
Follow credit control procedures diligently.
Attach all relevant dockets and correspondence to guest ledger accounts before forwarding to the Accounts Department.
Balance float, cash, and credit takings for each shift and complete cashier reports.
Assist guests promptly and professionally when needed.
Accurately record and execute wake-up calls.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with guests and fellow staff members.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
Previous experience in a reception or front office role within a hospitality environment is required.
