The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including managing reservations, guest check-ins and check-outs, handling correspondence with guests and agencies, and overseeing general office administration duties The role also involves invoicing, payment control, and coordinating guest activities, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all visitors. This is a live-in position that offers accommodation, meals, and laundry, ideal for someone passionate about hospitality and working in a dynamic team environment. Key Responsibilities: Reservations & Front Office Duties: Manage guest reservations using the Knightsbridge booking system. Communicate with guests, agencies, and other stakeholders regarding booking inquiries, confirmations, and special requests. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally. Ensure invoicing is accurate, and accounts are kept up to date. Guest Services & Activities: Attend to all guest requests, including arranging excursions, activities, and other special requirements. Provide guests with information about lodge amenities, game reserve offerings, and local attractions. Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction Perform general office administration tasks such as filing, correspondence, and maintaining organized records. Ensure efficient payment control and follow up on any outstanding balances. Oversee stock taking and inventory control for lodge supplies. Coordinate with housekeeping and restaurant teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service. Work closely with other lodge staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Contribute positively to a collaborative work environment, assisting other departments as needed Keep the reception area neat, organized, and welcoming for guests at all times. SKILLS: Familiarity with Knightsbridge booking system or similar property management systems. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Familiarity with MySpread Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
