A Leading Fresh Produce Retail CompanyReference: HQ000753-pn-2A Leading Fresh Produce Retail company based in Hillcrest and Bluff is currently requiring the services of a dynamic and responsible branch manager to join their team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesFRESH PRODUCE MANAGER: RetailLocation: Hillcrest and BluffA minimum of 5 years' experience in the above mentioned role within the retail industry.Key Responsibilities:Managing the Fruit and Vegetable Department to maximize gross profitResponsible for the smooth running of the departmentPlacing of daily orders, estimation of the amounts and frequencies of the required productsResponsible for leadership of the staff, the duty shift planning and personal issuesOrganisation and controlling of stockStay in line with the company's allowed amount of shrinkage and wastage within the departmentWeekly stocktakesResponsibility for the freshness and the variety of the assortmentPerfect presentation of goodsComplying with sanitation and safety standardsTo be constantly informed about improvements and searching for the best productsPassion for productsKnowledge Base:Experience from retail in vegetables and fruits essentialGood knowledge of fruits and vegetablesMust have experience in buying of fruit and vegAttitude to learn product range of the specific departmentLeadership experience (employees)Point of Sale Systems knowledge is desirablePractical Skills:Team PlayerHands-on characterHigh level of quality consciousnessAbility to think strategicallyGood customer service skillsA creative side (for creating displays)A minimum of 5 years' experience in the above mentioned role.
