Job ID: 6009 Job Purpose Focal Point of Contact with clients for freight related requests. Follow the end to end customer profile and maintain existing business. Procure the best rates from the airlines/shipping lines after identifying the best solution for the customer.
Key Responsibilities Identify Freight Requirement & Provide Freight Solution to customerDevelop relation with the customerAchieve the overall freight numbers for the customers assignedReport any failure to the line manager and ensure client is updated on timeCoordinate with multiple stakeholders internallyProcure & Negotiate Rates with carriers/agents and officesQuote Submission CW1End to end follow up on shipment life cycle (OPS to execute)Re-quotation if requiredShipment Creation CW1Ensure Cargo wise adoption & milestone status update integrity is 100%Monitor & manage airlines relations on a station level for better buying power and lead negotiation of adhoc or contracted rates to provide more competitive rates to customersCoordinate with costing leader for RFQs, projects & tenders whenever requiredMinimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in business or any other field3-4 years of relevant working experience in the Freight Forwarding industryExperience in Customer service and handling Key business client, airline & rate negotiationCargo wise experience preferredExcellent MS office skills: Word, Excel and Power PointGood commands in professional emails writingSkills Professional and strong work ethicNegotiation & Mathematical skillsAnalytical skillsDetail orientedQuality orientedCritical thinkingAbility to work well under pressureStress toleranceTeamwork, collaboration & Relationship buildingSelf-motivated & self-managedIntegrityDecision makingCompany Overview: Since our founding in 1982 we have grown to become a world leader in comprehensive transport and delivery solutions for business and consumers.
