Fragrance (Beauty) Buyer

Our Retail Group Client, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fragrance Buyer based in Umhlanga, Durban The Fragrance Buyer will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing consumables from suppliers, as well as monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. Remuneration:The remuneration for this position is market-depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.Requirements: Matric and Completed a Degree in Fragrance /Fashion/Apparel Design, Supply Chain Diploma, RetailMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in the Fragrance industry as a buyer.Proven track record of successful negotiations and cost-effective procurement.Familiarity with market trends and a keen eye for fashion and Fragrance products.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes. Responsibilities:Sourcing and Negotiation:Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.Negotiate terms and conditions to secure advantageous agreements.Stay updated on market trends and maintain awareness of competitor pricing.Procurement:Execute the procurement process efficiently, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality products.Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards.Inventory Management:Regularly assess inventory levels and reorder stock as needed.Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.Collaboration:Work closely with other departments such as marketing and sales to align purchasing strategies with business goals.Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure a seamless supply chain process.Quality Assurance:Ensure that all purchased products meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.Collaborate with quality control teams to address any product-related issues. Please take note: if you have not been contacted within 14 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
