Formwork Designer

Job Description:Draughting of layouts in 2D and/or 3D for formwork and scaffolding using standard products.Design specials and produce manufacturing drawings.Accurately quantify equipment on the drawings.Resolve design queries with Salesperson.Assist with Tender proposals and quantities.Ensure business processes are being followed.Ensure deadlines are met and commitments honoured.Manage and communicate efficiently.Requirements:Matric (Grade 12) with Maths.Draughting qualification.Civil Engineering Qualification (Degree, BTech, Diploma, or N6) will be advantages.Fully competent in Temporary Works Design and Construction Methodology.Fully competent in AutoCAD 2D (3D will be advantageous).Minimum five years related experience.Form-Scaff product knowledge will be advantageous.People and process management skills essential.Highly computer literate.Customer-service driven.
