Formwork and Scaffolding Stock Controller and Data CapturerLanseriaJob Summary:The Formwork and Scaffolding Stock Controller and Data Capturer is responsible for managing inventory levels of formwork and scaffolding materials, ensuring accurate tracking, and recording of stock movements, and maintaining data integrity within the inventory management system.
This role supports efficient project operations by ensuring that all materials are available as needed and that data is captured accurately for reporting and analysis.Key Responsibilities:1.Inventory Management:oMonitor stock levels of formwork and scaffolding materials.oConduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.oCoordinate the ordering and receipt of materials as needed.2.Data Capturing:oAccurately enter inventory data into the management system.oMaintain detailed records of stock movements, including usage, returns, and adjustments.oGenerate and maintain reports on inventory status and usage patterns.3.Stock Organization:oEnsure proper storage and organization of materials to facilitate easy access and minimize damage.oImplement and maintain inventory control procedures.4.Collaboration:oWork closely with project managers and site supervisors to understand material requirements.oCommunicate effectively with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.5.Compliance and Safety:oAdhere to safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling and storage.oEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards.6.Continuous Improvement:oIdentify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management and data capturing.oAssist in the development of best practices and training materials for team members.Qualifications:•Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus.•Experience: Proven experience in inventory control, stock management, or a related field, preferably within the construction or scaffolding industry.•Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).•Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.•Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.Physical Requirements:•Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.•Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on construction sites.Working Conditions:•The role may require working in both office and outdoor environments, with potential exposure to construction site conditions.
