We are looking for a foreperson to be working in and around East London. Main purpose of the role: Plan and supervise the day-to-day activities at site level and ensure that work is carried out in a safe manner, in compliance with all H&S legislation.
Due to the variety of sites, driving is a fundamental part of the role; therefore, applicants must have a full manual driving license.
Essential skills/knowledge: Experience or background in kitchens, bathrooms, windows, flooring, and decorations and repairsExperience of managing a team of trade staff across multiple sitesAbility to establish good working relationships with clients, the public, and subcontractorsAbility to manage own time and prioritise workloadCSCS CardDriving licenseTrades Qualifications (NVQ/ City and Guilds etc)Experience with pre-decoration repairsBasic IT knowledgeScaffold inspection – training can be providedFirst Aid – training can be providedIPAFPASMASSSTS/SMSTSPackage: Salary - £43,000 to £50,000, based on experienceHours – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1hr for lunch)Holidays + bank holidays and Christmas ClosureCompany van (tracked) and fuel card for business usePhone for business useCompany branded Uniform and relevant PPEAdditional information: DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the company's expenseEligible to work in the UKSix Month Probationary PeriodAll applications are assessed in line with the Equal Opportunities Regulations and Data Protection Regulations.
