Job DescriptionCarries out duties in detecting and preventing fraud within the company. Liaises with internal computer investment auditors to reduce risk in the company.
Manage costs/expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies.Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.Maintain excellent relationships with Police, Interbank Card Fraud committee, and internal FNB Card Departments such as Legal, Risk, HR, Public Relations, IT security, and Forensic audit to ensure that we remain up to date with fraud trends as well as assist in industry decision making to combat fraud.Develop and maintain a network of experts to ensure communication of solutions, benefits, risks, and innovations in the area of specialization.Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.Make decisions on arrests and represent FNB in Courts of law during prosecution of criminals, always protecting the reputation of the Bank. Represent FNB at Interbank Fraud Committees where decisions are made for the Industry to combat fraud.Track and analyze Fraud trends and performance and communicate to Head FNB CBS Fraud, in order to keep up to date with new trends of fraud as the fraud scams are becoming more sophisticated.Deal with the complexity of different types of criminal cases, from minor infringements to major fraud cases.Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent, and culture of the team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies, and increase competencies.Manage own development to increase own competencies.Qualifications and SkillsDegree/Diploma/Certification in banking/commerce.2-3 years relevant experience.Job DetailsTake note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards; kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below. 04/01/25
