Job Description
To effectively managing his/her own work in an independent manner to ensure adherence to agreed SLA's, meeting departmental and Quality requirements. This extends to but not limited the Short Term Insurance environment whereby the investigator will be responsible for investigations requested by Discovery Insure Management, other business units within the Discovery Group.
Job responsibilities
Accountable for independently leading and conducting his/her own quality investigations
Supportive role to management in Implementing fraud prevention programs and creating awareness with role-players
Highly developed analytical and investigative skills with consistent high performance
Handle own administrative functions required independently and/or with minimal support
Relationship building with internal and external clients to achieve objectives.
Knowledge of the relevant business process impacted by the investigation.
Interviewing of staff / providers.
Drafting off Affidavits and opening SAPS cases.
Provide feedback on investigations to management by means of an Investigation Report.
Work Experience
Grade 12
5 years' experience in forensic investigations with specific reference to Short Term Insurance investigations / processes.
Understanding business processes / risk or internal audit background.
CFE qualification is advantageous
Previous South African Police Service experience / detective
Education / Qualifications / Accreditations with Professional Body
CFE qualification
Grade 12
NQF 6 or higher qualification in Criminal Justice / Law
