1 KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS: Reporting directly to the Site Foreman and working closely with the operations team, the Foreman Assistant will be expected to perform the following functions:1.1 Core functionTo assist the Site Foreman with the supervision of all site operations (bagging, offloading, weighbridge control and drying plant), to ensure that duties are performed safely, effectively and efficiently.1.2 Day-to-day dutieS1.Assist with supervising site operations:-Attend daily coordination meetings;-Assist with general supervision of all production areas-Act as Site Foreman when required;-Alternate with Site Foreman with supervision duties during December holidays;-Alternate with Site Foreman with supervision duties during weekends;-Assist SHEQ Officer with safety filing;-Scrutinize mobile machines inspection reports daily and report all faults to Site Foreman or Operations Manager;-Conduct PTO (Planed Task Observations) in conjunction with the Shift Supervisors;-Report safety related incidents to Operations manager and SHEQ Officer;-Assist with ADHOC office duties;-Assist with stock take;-Ensure that pool vehicle is kept clean; 2.Purchasing of goods and services:-Raise purchase documents for goods and services;-Take responsibility for collecting groceries and other office items from town;3.Monthly wages:-Assist Site Foreman with monthly wages;-Compile and submit monthly wages in the absence of the Site Foreman;4.Diesel-Check diesel level daily and report level to Operations Manager;-Take responsibility for receiving and filling diesel;5.Housekeeping:-Monitor the cleaning of operating vehicles and plant;-Coordinate cleaning activities across all operations especially the weighbridge;2 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED2.1 Educational Requirements / Related Experience-Grade 12-At least 2 years Supervisory experience2.2 Skills Requirements-Drivers Licence is a must-Computer Literacy
