Food Technologist – Food Scientist – Ssftfs

Main job function We are looking for a dynamic Food Technologist / Food Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a team player who will thrive in our exciting and fast paced environment. The main responsibilities of this role will be to assist the Technical Manager with the management and implementation of our food safety management systems and to provide technical support to our NPD team, customers and suppliers (local and international).

Desired Qualification and Experience: Diploma in Food Technology / Food Science 3-5 years' experience in a similar role Good understanding of technical processes and principles Good knowledge and understanding of food safety standards; experience with food safety audits will be advantageous Experience with South African labelling legislation and artwork sign off Quality / High standard mind set, excellent attention to detail Good organizational skills; strong ability to manage several projects simultaneously Good interpersonal skills Office based position Computer literate MS Office A Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
