Food Technologist – Food Scientist

Job description We are looking for a dynamic Food Technologist / Food Scientist to join our team.
The ideal candidate should be a team player who will thrive in our exciting and fast paced environment.
They will provide technical support to our NPD team where they will assist with new product launches and range management through quality control, artwork approval and all other technical competencies that are required to ensure brand integrity and food safety.
They will also work closely with our international and local supply base and customers.
Technical Competencies: Minimum requirement- diploma in Food Technology / Food ScienceMinimum 3 years experience in a similar roleRelevant retail industry understandingComputer literate MS OfficeGood understanding of technical processes and principlesExperience with South African labelling legislation and artwork sign off will be advantageousQuality / High standard mind setExcellent attention to detailGood organizational skills and strong ability to manage several projects simultaneouslyGood interpersonal skillsOffice based position A Consultant will be in touch if you are shortlisted for the position.
