Food Scientist

Minimum Requirements:Food Technology or Food Science DegreeMore than 6 years working as a Food Scientist / TechnologistProficient with SAPOwn transport Duties and Responsibilities:Lead internal recipe optimization projects to address issues such as raw material reworks, cost reduction, alternative suppliers, and slow-moving stock.Facilitate the transfer of recipes from international office to local production sites.Sample Preparation: Prepare samples for approval by the team or client, stability, and shelf life testing.Assist with the handover of new recipes from R&D department to Production, including coordination across multiple production sites.Conduct laboratory testing to optimize recipes, reducing costs and raw material usageIndependently test recipes and conduct trials to refine formulations.Implement and adapt new recipes into production processes.Create and maintain accurate product-specific master data in the SAP system.Streamline recipes by reducing the number of raw materials.Select and optimize raw materials based on cost and sourcing constraints.Perform physical, chemical, and visual testing of product developments and applications.Conduct stability and shelf life testing to ensure product quality.Collaborate with the production team on adjusted formulations and assist with recipe handovers.Communicate with the sales team as needed to address product-related questions or concerns.
