Food Sales Representative

Our client, a leading Fresh Foods (Meat) Wholesaler, is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team in Richards Bay, Zululand. If you have a passion for food and sales and are ready to take on an exciting challenge, we want to hear from you!

Job Description: Acquire new and continue existing relationships with customers, promoting and selling our products by visiting them on a regular basis and maintaining contact. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns. Provide product knowledge and training to customers, ensuring they are well-informed of our products. Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry trends. Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our products. Implementing sales driver activities, negotiating and maintaining sales / pricing Dealing with customer complaints and providing solutions. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least 3 years of food service sales experience. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to listen and identity client requirements. Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities. Excellent organisational and time / territory management skills. Passion for selling and exceeding client expectations. Ability to work under own initiative with a high degree of responsibility, accuracy and autonomy. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel. Computer literate. Zulu speaking is a non-negotiable.
