Position:
Food and Beverage Manager
Location:
5-Star Hotel, Hoedspruit
Remuneration:
Market-related, including Provident Fund and Medical benefits
Qualifications:
Academic Background:
A 3-year national academic qualification in Hotel Management, Culinary, or Food and Beverage Services.
Experience:
Industry Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a 100+ key hotel, conference facilities, and multi-restaurant outlets within a 5-star environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in various computer software programs (MS Office, HMS, POS).
Financial Acumen:
Sound knowledge of F&B budgeting, COS, stock, and PAR level management.
Performance Management:
Proven ability to meet and exceed targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures.
Opening Experience:
Previous experience in opening new establishments is advantageous.
Skills:
Language Proficiency:
Full command of English.
Customer Service:
Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
Industry Knowledge:
Up-to-date with food and beverage trends and best practices.
Team Leadership:
Lead the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel.
Communication and Leadership:
Strong communication and leadership skills.
