We are on the hunt for a talented F&B Manager to step in and step up.As the Food & Beverage Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the food and beverage operations within Jozini Tiger Lodge.This position is critical to the effective operations & efficient execution of the food and beverage offering at Jozini, with key drivers of customer satisfaction and financial success.Key responsibilities:Food and Beverage Operations - Ensure that waiters, room service staff, and barmen are always correctly and smartly dressed, offering professional and courteous service, while maintaining clean and well-kept restaurants and cloakrooms, and ensuring prompt, standards-compliant room service orders and impeccable table appointments, including flower arrangementsStock Management - Ensure profit margins and cost control through effective systems, accurate forecasting, proper stock management, adherence to procedures, timely budgeting, and implementation of industry trends.Management - Participate in meal preparations, check duty rosters, maintain guest and staff interactions, approve requisitions, oversee F&B policies, handle complaints, design menus, ensure F&B security, adhere to health and safety measures, and perform additional duties as assigned.Learning and Development - Ensure the best-qualified person fills vacancies, preferably through internal promotion, identify and address training needs, conduct regular on-the-job training, and ensure staff are trained in health and safety measures.Customer Service - Ensure service quality meets company standards by addressing customer needs and resolving complaints proactivelyMust have:Preferably related tertiary qualificationProven food and beverage management experience in a large hotel5 years' experience at the Management LevelProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), Restaurant management software, POSPreferably HTI with Plus Point, Plus Central, Nebula, and Apex
