Luxury Lodge close to Hoedspruit is looking for a F&B Duty Manager.
Full responsibility for the running of the Stock Control Division in the Food & Beverage Department and the arranging of Guest Delights
Implementing and maintaining a daily Stock Management & Control System
Ensure adequate stock levels: Storeroom / Cellar and Fridge control
Daily administrative functions, stock takes and reconciliation of sales vs charges vs stock use
Assisting with the purchasing and receiving of beverage stock
Stock issues to bar and other departments
Weekly administration, Invoices and GRV's
Ensure that the bar and cellar is well stocked and have full Knowledge of stock items
Monthly stocktakes and submitting of the information with in deadlines
Overseeing and managing all aspects of food and beverage operations
Managing of F&B team, providing training and implement strategies to maximize guest experience
Hosting of guests during meal times where necessary
Assisting management with administrative duties
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years working experience in Food & Beverage Department with in a similar Luxury 5* Lodge environment
Food & Beverage knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (listening skills, verbal communication etc)
Positive attitude, Self-motivated, Confident
Hands-on, pro-active approach and Team Player
An analytical approach with an eye for detail
Strong administrative skills
Guest interaction
FOH systems experience – PAN an advantage
Experience in Purchasing, Stock Control Systems and Stocktakes
Code 8 driver's licence
Understanding of the basic accounting functions
