Food and Beverage Operations ManagerLive in / OutAscotUp to £50-54kBonus + Service Charge and Retention BonusContributory pension, Life Assurance Cover, 50% hotel discounts, Outstanding Development Potential.Our client, an exclusive 5-star 18th century country house hotel near Ascot, has a fantastic opportunity to recruit their Food and Beverage Operations Manager to lead a busy and talented team for the complete dining experience in a stunning 5-star Hotel environment.ResponsibilitiesAs Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:Assisting the Director of Food & Beverage in developing and delivering, upon approval, overall Food & Beverage strategy.Pioneering Food & Beverage standards.Delivery of Food & Beverage quality standards KPIs, ensuring the team consistently exceeds guest expectations.Ensuring all aspects of Food & Beverage are consistent with brand guidelines.Proactively working with top Food & Beverage suppliers to ensure products are of the highest quality.Assisting in the recruitment, induction, retention, and development of the team in conjunction with HR policies.Proactively working with all departments to understand issues and suggest solutions, driving continuous improvement.Effectively communicating to all teams in the most effective way; team briefings, meetings, emails, noticeboards, and specific one-to-one catch-ups.Creating rotas and managing shift patterns in line with business levels, taking into account holidays and sickness, and ensuring accurate record keeping.Attending weekly function meetings and daily hotel briefings.Guaranteeing that the highest standard of service and product is delivered to guests at all times and reviewing regularly.Maintaining a high level of presence within the department to lead by example through a hands-on approach.Confidently communicating with guests to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded by providing personalized service.Aiming to achieve guest and team engagement targets in line with our scorecard.Working closely with the Director of Events, Events Sales Team, and culinary team to ensure streamlined communication throughout the department.Requirements:As Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you would ideally have:Experience controlling costs and driving revenue according to budgeted targets.A strong culinary and service philosophy.Up-to-date SOPs.Effective and efficient recruitment of staff.The ability to motivate the team and instill a culture of passion, creativity, and curiosity.Flexibility and creativity in dealing with guests' special requests or challenges that may arise.Ideal Candidate:An ideal candidate as Food and Beverage Operations Manager will have:Hotel school diploma or equivalent.5-star hotel experience.Previous similar experience.Food and wine knowledge.Commercial and business awareness.Excellent interpersonal skills.Leadership and influencing skills.Training skills.Complaint handling/problem-solving abilities.Motivational skills.Hours5/7 days in line with the requirements of the role/hotel.Salary and BenefitsComplimentary nights with breakfast included.50% F&B discount.Very generous Employee Introductory Scheme.Team members' awards.Contributory pension scheme.Staff events throughout the year.Uniform laundered.Complimentary meals while on duty.Complimentary Internet.Cycle to work scheme.World Class Development Opportunity.If you are a passionate, driven, and dedicated Manager with the skills and experience required, please apply now.Please note that by applying for this position, you consent for Nourish Recruitment to process your personal data in line with our GDPR policy and consent declaration, which can be viewed on our website.
