Job Description: Food & Beverage ManagerThe Food & Beverage Manager will oversee the daily operations of the F&B department.
This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent service quality, controlling stock, maintaining health and safety standards, and driving financial goals.
The manager will be responsible for budgeting, implementing F&B procedures, organizing events, and building strong relationships with guests, staff, and the community.Key Requirements:3-5 years of experience in managing an F&B department in a 4- or 5-star hotel/lodge.Matric and relevant tertiary qualification (preferred).Strong command of English and good financial understanding.Experience with stock control and POS, stock, and PMS systems (APEX/NEBULA & PlusPoint a plus).Experience in banqueting and conferencing, managing multiple venues.Strong organizational, time management, and reporting skills.Ability to train and manage staff, with a hands-on approach.Valid RSA driver's license and own vehicle.Ability to work in a remote location and manage shifts.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cope under pressure.
