Foh / Reservations - Madikwe

18 Bed Award Winning 5* Lodge in Madikwe is looking for a FOH / Reservationist to assist with administrative tasks at the Lodge.
Reservation, preparation of offers and bookings in the reservation system
Handling requests from guests and travel partners via the phone and e-mail
Taking care of guests' concerns during their stay
Check-in and check-out for arriving and departing guests
Control of incoming payments and payment requests
Assistance with administrative work at the end of the month including stock control
Willingness to help with daily work, even outside the office, such as room control checks, hosting during dinner times
Reports to the Lodge Manager
Requirements:
Experience on a similar job in an environment and at a lodge at similar level, or degree from a hotel management school
Experience with administration and reservation systems, knowledge of Panstrat a plus
Computer skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and others
Excellent communications skills in English, written and oral
Team-player who feels well being part of a team with flat hierarchies and direct communication channels
Works calmly and solution-oriented and remains calm as a leader in emergencies and crises
Willingness to work and live in the bush (on a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off cycle)
