Fms Maintenance - Technical Lead

RESPONSIBILITY OF JOB:The FMS Maintenance - Technical Lead will provide technical support and quality monitoring on the company's sites, and spot check factory acceptance tests conducted at the offices to ensure that all company products meet consistent quality standards.FORMAL TRAINING REQUIRED:Technical National Diploma or bachelor's degree compulsory and not negotiable.Compulsory bachelor's degree or National Diploma in electrical, Mechanical or Electronics engineering fields.5-10 years' experience in a Quality/Technical support or leadership position a must.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB FUNCTIONS:High level effective communication skills are critical.Ability to compile and provide professional reports is an absolute requirement.Demonstrable experience in leadership is critical.Ability to make decisions independently and creatively.Strong good work ethics.Ability to interact with customers at all levels of the organization.Good command of English language is compulsory.Ability to work independently and within a team is critical.General understanding of industrial communication strategies for devices such as RS232, RS485, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, radio modems etc.General understanding of the assembly of electronic equipment.Must be able to understand wiring diagrams and device manuals to troubleshoot these devices.Must be computer literate.Must be able to install drivers and tools used for the configuration and monitoring of these devices.Basic understanding of mechanical devices like solenoid valves and meters would be a great advantage.Must be able to prioritise his/her own tasks and the tasks of others and keep track of these tasks for reporting purposes.Must exhibit excellent problem-solving skills.
