Fleet & Transport Manager

My client is looking for an experienced Fleet & Transport Manager  to oversee their transport and delivery operations within the petroleum industry.
They will coordinate and manage the entire logistics process, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of petroleum products across South Africa.
They will manage drivers, optimize routes, provide transport reports, and ensure all trucks run smoothly.Fleet size: 12 Trucks (and growing) KEY ROLESVehicle Acquisition & MaintenanceRoute Scheduling and optimizationManaging Drivers & VehiclesManage Operational CostsLiaising and communicating with Clients Requirements:Proven experience as a Logistics/Transport Manager within the fuel industry.Candidates with a solid and continuos work record will receive preference Must have (truck & trailer) mechanical knowledge and knowledge of safety processes/requirements to load petroleum products.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in logistics software - Webfleet and Excel.
