Identify and implement best fit route optimization model and systems.ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU WILL DO:IntercompanyManage the collection of buy outs at sister bakeries when neededManage Invoicing bread on morning and afternoon loads to Manna AA Consistent monitoring of the distribution network (Route viability and Performance).Manage returns and stock on truckManage collection of Value adds with the cratesDeliver AA weekly statements and invoices.Match departure times and loading timeously for AAManage leave rosters & ensure leave relievers are in placeManager weekly wagesEnsure that drivers maintain a tidy, professional appearance at all timesManage daily truck inspectionManage the collection of buy outs at sister bakeries when neededMonitor collection of loaders at AA or Manna when trucks get diverted to sister bakeriesDebriefing drivers on daily speeding and fuel consumptionBalance crates back to basket reconManage estimate order for AAAttend to disciplinary issues (misconducts)Manage departure timesDistributionConduct daily inspection and updates the inspection record on Excel spread sheetTrain and test drivers on truck and trailersDriver testingInput of basket sheet info on a Excel spread sheet to determine the truck utilization%Facilitate scheduled invo comsMonitor and manager all accidents/incident related issuesManage vehicle insurance claims and assist with the investigation reportsMonitor GPS (tracking , reports, speed limits, fuel cuts when hijacked)Allocate trucks on routesConduct daily vehicle inspection and record keepingAssist with obtaining authorization for vehicle repair including tyres, gear box, discPartner with SAPS in relations to all the release of all hi-jacked and pounded vehiclesDeal with all panel beating and windscreen repairs/replacementsQualificationsESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:ExperienceMatric or equivalent qualificationNational Diploma/3 year Degree in Supply Chain will be an added advantageMinimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In a FMCG EnvironmentValid drivers' licensePrepared to work long hours when requiredPrepared to work weekends and public holidaysPrepared to work in informal and formal trade sectorAbout UsTiger Brands is proudly Africa's largest listed manufacturers of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
