Fleet Controller

Join to apply for the Fleet Controller role at Total Recruitment Solutions.Job Responsibilities:Logistics control and management of drivers throughout the entire delivery process, ensuring deadlines, time frames, and delivery standards are adhered to in line with the Company operating procedures.Maintain constant contact and communication with the client, the driver, and the delivery point/client's customer.Provide continuous communication, support, and guidance to the driver to ensure delivery satisfaction and compliance with delivery requirements.Market delivery routes to engage new customers and ensure routes are occupied within the designated area.Maintain customer/client relationships to the highest satisfaction level.Ensure optimal execution of the daily route plan through live/integrated vehicle tracking.Address all variances against the plan with drivers and customers, escalating where appropriate.Liaise with customers to optimize delivery schedules and reduce secondary distribution costs.Measure on-time delivery and turnaround time, reporting deviations at a customer level on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.Ensure all vehicles routed are tracked, explaining deviations and errors daily.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12/Matric.In-depth knowledge of the operating and legislative requirements of the transport and logistics industry.Degree/Diploma in Logistics/Stock Control – advantageous.At least 2 years of similar controlling or industry-related experience.Excellent administration, verbal, and written communication skills.Transport and Quality Control Knowledge.Valid Driver's License (code 14 will be advantageous) & own transport.Computer literate: MS Office.Seniority Level:Entry LevelEmployment Type:Full-timeJob Function:Management and ManufacturingIndustries:Staffing and RecruitingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Total Recruitment Solutions by 2x.
