The Fleet Controller/Costing Clerk will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the company's fleet of vehicles. This includes monitoring vehicle maintenance, scheduling repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles are operating efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and track the company's fleet of vehicles to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goodsCoordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and expensesManage fuel consumption and cost tracking to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce overall costsConduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulationsMaintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, maintenance, and repairsAssist with the development and implementation of cost-saving initiatives related to fleet managementLiaise with drivers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operationsQualifications:Previous experience in fleet management or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management softwareKnowledge of transportation regulations and safety standardsSalary: negotiable.
