Fleet Controller (Broking)

Position: Fleet Controller (Broking) Industry: Transport / LogisticsLocation: Pretoria North - Gauteng, South AfricaSalary: Market related Responsibilities:Identifying and vetting prospective clients, subcontractors, and brokerage firms to build a pipeline of service providers and clients.Gathering information from clients to determine their needs.Obtaining quotes from carriers and passing them on to clients.Booking freight service through subcontractors for clients.Coordinating the pickup and drop-off of consignments.Monitoring the progress to ensure that goods arrive promptly and undamaged.Advising clients on potential issues and delays.Updating Fleet Management System with relevant information.Requirements and Qualifications:Gr 12 or equivalent (required).Afrikaans and EnglishQualification in Fleet Management and Logistics (advantage).2 to 4 years proven experience as a logistics/fleet controller must have managed a small fleet.must have dealt with subcontractors/clients.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate).Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
