Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
+2 years experience in fleet management or a similar role. Experience with vehicle maintenance, compliance regulations, and budget management is highly desirable.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
Knowledge of vehicle safety regulations and maintenance practices.
Responsibilities:
Fleet Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet, including scheduling maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance and compliance with safety standards.
Vehicle Acquisition and Disposal: Manage the acquisition and disposal of vehicles, including negotiating with vendors, managing lease agreements, and ensuring proper documentation.
Compliance: Ensure that all fleet operations comply with relevant regulations, including transportation laws, environmental regulations, and company policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle registrations, insurance, maintenance logs, and other relevant documentation. Generate and analyze reports related to fleet performance, costs, and usage.
Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the fleet budget. Monitor and control expenses related to vehicle maintenance, fuel, insurance, and other fleet-related costs.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors for vehicle servicing, repairs, and other fleet-related services. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate service contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Safety and Risk Management: Implement and oversee safety programs and risk management strategies for the fleet. Conduct regular safety audits and address any issues or concerns related to vehicle safety.
Support and Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to support their fleet needs, including coordinating vehicle assignments, addressing special requirements, and providing support for transportation-related projects.
